I bought these amongst several others of the same type but different brands and these fit the best immediately I took them recently to Belize where I went snorkeling hiking walking on the beach and more all in these shoes and they were absolutely perfect They were so comfortable I hardly even noticed they were there except for the fact that they also provided perfect support I have relatively large and wide feet and appreciated that these actually made my feet look smaller as opposed to one of the other major brands which only added to the boat-like shape of my feet! I can't wait for my next trip These will definitely be in the suitcase!

These are those boots You know the ones you always reach for and feel invincible wearing I've had gaucho brown since October 2003 and they're still my go to faves with jeans in any temperature More comfy now than ever Got them for the tough-yet-only-slightly-rebellious look Turns out they're pretty comfortable on my sport bike and have an oil resistant sole They even survived a low speed crash into the side of a trash truck with no twists or bruising to my ankles'feet You know it's love when insurance offered to replace them because of a dime sized surface scratch and I declined They seem to fit better the longer I have them and they age beautifully at least the gaucho does Watch yourself on compact snow they're like ice skates Seriously cool boots for the urban cowgirl

I have read of Reiker shoes for quite a long time but had never purchased a pair A family trip to San Francisco sent me looking for a comfortable stylish pair of shoes for the trip When they arrived I wore them to my office for several days and they did feel like walking in bedroom slippers (which is where they should have stayed) I found the cushioned insert that was in them was to say the least not adequate support and there was no arch support at all I purchased a pair of inserts at a shoe store and they helped immensely but with both inserts in place it looked rather "tacky" Recently I saw the same shoes in another catalog and they advertised "Reiker Removable Insole" for $2500 Why should I pay a premium price for shoes and then still have to purchase an insole to give it support? I am extremely disappointed in this shoe and feel Reiker advertising is very misleading I do like ThumbTrade service and their convenience in ordering and returning shoes and will continue to use them
