Description:
Betty Sherman from Northern California
I bought the Sozo hoping it would be as good as the Palma
I have a widish foot
poor arches
metatarsal calcification and cannot take pressure on the top of my foot
need I say more? The Sozo is highly supportive
well-balanced and wide enough
but not sloppy wide
it must be meant for a "b" width such as mine
I wanted a clog to slip on and off in airports
This feels almost as supportive as my Mephisto lace-ups
My only problem: the price of these well-made and good-looking shoes
Otherwise
I would immediately try the lace-up styles
Keep up the good work and ThumbTrade is great
too
Spokes from Charlotte, NC
I love these boots! These were my footwear of choice when I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2009 You get to know boots after walking 2178
3 miles
What makes 'em so nice? A wide toe box
good support
and strong upper
While the soles didn't last as long as other boots on the market they were super comfortable
I never got any blisters wearing them
a huge factor for me
I added a pair of blue SuperFeet inserts for extra cushion
Watch the sizing since they tend to run small
I bumped up a half size to get a perfect fit
The Garmont Flash XCR's are my second choice for long distance hiking
pat jonson from florida and ohio
this shoe is extremely confortable
I have flat feet
a slight bunion and I need a little more heel to feel better
The toe ring stops your foot from sliding further in the shoe and the ring is just above the bunion area
cushioning is wonderful
Just get a half size larger than your normal size -- you will love them
