I just climbed Mt
Washington with these shoes after a 2 day break in period
They are extremely light and I wasn't sure if they would suffice for this 4300 ft
4
1 mile hike
but they worked great
They were comfortable and the traction was great; we were on some wet and slopped rocks and these did not slip
I am an experienced and semi-in shape distance hiker so my ankles are somewhat strong
I liked the no break in period
I was torn between these and more substantial trail shoes as I am a subscriber to the ultra-light philosophy for hiking
I am taking them on a two day hike this coming weekend
They aren't waterproof
but they probably will dry quickly
Your legs will thank you for hiking in such light shoes! If they don't hold up over time I will be getting the 620's
I can't imagine using my two pairs of boots now unless just for camping!

These are my 6th pair of Privos over the last couple of years
Ordered them yesterday morning; got them this afternoon! Love them
They are slightly snug compared to more "casual" styles of Privos
but still fit in the same size I usually wear
perhaps because they are intended to be a little "dressier
" They are just plain cute! I wanted something to wear with a skirt or dress and they would easily go with pants as well
I have the Kosmo slip on and this is a nice alternative with a slightly more compact-looking silhouette that makes my rather large feet appear a bit more petite
I also have that rather lightweight Privo that looked like a ballet slipper from about 2 years ago that I wear with dresses
but wanted something just a bit more substantial without being "clunky
" This fits the bill exactly
A winner!

These shoes are fantastic
Your foot feels bathed in soft supportive comfort and they look fabulous
The fit for me is true to size
Would highly recommend these shoes!
