I've never sent a revised review of a shoe before but I feel as though I can't stand by the positive review of these sandals that I gave earlier The first time that I wore these sandals for an entire day the soles promptly fell off each shoe! Just detached and fell off! I wasn't even wearing them outside; I was indoors at a conference Really inconvenient and really disappointing especially since they were not inexpensive So yes they are cute but buyer beware

I love my Ugg Dakota slippers I purchased a pair in Autumn of 2007 in the coffee brown color Usually I wear a size 8 1'2 but I followed the advice and ordered an 8 They were a little bit snug at first but the soles are quick to conform to the shape of your foot and they soon fit perfectly! The insides are so soft and cozy warm by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I own At first I wore them only in the house (as slippers) but soon I found myself taking advantage of the sturdy sole and wearing them outside In no time I was running errands in them and eventually wearing them to work! I also love that replacement insoles are available so if the inside is worn (or smelly) the insole can be replaced and the Dakota is as good as new I recently ordered another Dakota in the Tobacco color from the 2008 collection again in a size 8 This shoe seemed quite a bit tighter than my first pair I double and triple-checked the size and both pairs are a size 8 I'm still trying to stretch them out to fit my feet Until they get ultra-comfortable they'll serve as house slippers On both pairs I removed the colored leather ties They truly serve no purpose aside from decoration and they come untied all the time! My options were a hot glue gun (to keep them permanently tied) or to remove them completely and I chose the latter

Besides being so darn cute my daughter put her daughter a little bit of a late bloomer in these shoes when she started to walk as she could really feel the ground while not having discomfort or instability Quite the opposite she is very stable and the best part is they last and last now that she is running all around and they are easy to put on even when she curls up her little toes :-)rnShe now has 3 pairs of this brand shoes gone are the days of sturdy tie up white things we put on our kidsrnOne proud grandma
