Don't let the average scores dissuade you A five star rating in my opinion includes my standing atop freshly groomed minxes whose little feet shuffle me about on command These slippers might very well be described as half slipper half shoe They're durable Top half of the slipper has very soft suede but hold well against the foot due to the snug bands and stitching Bottom half is hard leather and rubber tread obviously designed for more than walking on carpet or bathroom floor tiles kind of an indoor'outdoor slipper If you need to spend a little time in the garage or water some plants on the patio while remaining quite casual this is the slipper for you What's better is that they hold up very well I've been using mine almost continually for two weeks (indoor'outdoor) and I honestly cannot see any wear whatsoever as though they came straight from the box One issue that might be of interest to some is the tongue's (lip's?) tendency to dig in to the top of the foot After a day or two of use either the tongue has given way or I have become used to it so that it is no longer bothersome Overall this is a wearable useful slipper sophisticated enough to sport in front of company

This shoe fits true to size and is comfortable The online measurements are correct - the heel is 45 inches high The leg is not as tight as I would have liked The calf of this boot measured 14 inches up from the arch of the foot is 1475 inches in circumference The color is a somewhat muted brick red not quite as bright as it appears online The toe is not quite pointy- it's rounded at the very tip My husband says I look "powerful" in these shoes

Bought these shoes for a Wedding' Mother of the Bride dress Absolutely loved the shoes Got MANY compliments Was nervous seeing the reviews and receiving the shoes only 1 day before the wedding I bought my normal size and they were just a tad loose but seriously doubt that getting a smaller size would have worked for me (Could have easily had them tightened with enough time) I have a size 10 foot Do not normally wear a wide but definately do not wear a narrow Wore them without nylons (outdoor wedding at 102 degrees) might have had slipping problems if I would have wore nylons Slight discoloring of the skin when I took them off at night but under the circumstances no big deal! LOVE THEM!
