These shoes are comfortable
I walk all day at my job
They do feel short
I usually wear 5
5 or 6; these are 6 & my toes felt the end of the shoe at days end

A worthy successor to my Newports - I bought a pair of Newports when Keen first introduced them in 2003
and I wear them nearly constantly during the warm months
When the footbed had finally worn down to the point that ridges were giving me blisters
I decided to buy another pair
but couldn't find a color I liked
I decided to give the Venice a try instead
and if anything I like the fit better than the Newports
I have odd-to-fit feet (one foot half size smaller than the other
narrow heel
wide forefoot) and I love Keen shoes so much that I have almost no shoes left that are not Keens
Keens do tend to run a half-size small
though
so if you are normally an 8 to an 8
5
you'll be happier with the 8
5

I'm typically a 10-1'2
but sometimes a 10 and I ordered both sizes based on previous reviews: I went with the 10-1'2
I used the shoes to tour through Panama
Costa Rica
Nicaragua
and Honduras and they were perfect
The darker color made them acceptable for walking through cities and better restaurants without screaming athletic shoe
and the sole provided the need traction for hiking shallow river beds and trails in the cloud forests of Nicaragua's volcanoes
When they got wet the removable footbed dried quickly and they drained water well
I tried jogging in them and wouldn't recommend it for more than a mile or two if you're used to running in a more supportive (and shock absorbing) running shoe
I also have the similar Salomon's and while they have the edge in styling
these have it in comfort
Overall very happy with the purchase
