I can see why a lot of reviews state that these are very comfortable shoes but unfortunately each person's feet are different and mine did not get along well with these shoes More specifically my right foot I really wanted to love these shoes I loved how it looked very simple and classic I loved how it had the perfect heel height and it had great cushioning I actually liked how "squishy" the heel is It's almost like you are wearing sneakers It really felt comfortable the first couple of hours I had it on when I was doing some moderate walking A couple of hours later after doing a lot more walking I got a blister on the heel of my right foot and I can feel the leather pinching the bone on the side of my big toe and pinky toe but only on my right foot The only problem I had with my left foot was that the fit was a tiny bit loose Before midday I had three band-aids on my right foot I stuck a folded up paper towel in my left shoe (hoping for a better fit) and my ankles and calf muscles were aching badly I find that the heels really are too squishy for doing a lot of walking and my ankles roll a lot in these flats My legs and feet were feeling sore up to two days later I am kind of afraid that these shoes would give me bunions I've never had a rougher shoe break-in period than this one I do not think I can send these back anymore as I've worn them out for a whole day and it has a few scuff marks on the sole now :(

I wore these through freezing drizzle in Scandinavia walking two to three hours per day then wore them all winter long in Saint Paul's snow and ice They are oversized which is what you want for cold weather You can wear a couple pair of thin wool socks and walk for a couple hours in zero degrees without getting cold feetThey are also good for bicycling in cold weather Great for airplane travel they go on and off quickly Like walking barefoot they have very little arch

These clogs are everything Dansko used to be! The new Danskos don't measure up to the old ones but these Sanitas definitely do These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn A size 39 fits my slightly wide size 8 feet perfectly And ThumbTrade' service can't be beat!
