I purchased these shoes for running on my treadmill and working out with P90X
These shoes are excellent They fit my foot extremely well
they are solid shoes (my Adidas had my little toe work its way out the side) and the bottom cushion is amazing it's almost like running on springs My shins no longer hurt when I run for extended periods of time; love these shoes

Goodbye dear old 608s They changed Probably to make extra buck Here's my story So I'm not sure of exact year range but somewhere maybe about 10-15 years ago in The New Balance start wave of popularity So when I got of bed my feet were in pain So I did the rarity of going to a foot doctor He was going to make me some kind of expensive foot insert So I ran into a friend shortly after He was a cook at a restaurant I asked him how his shoes were He told me ever since he got his New Balance 608s that his feet have never been better So I figured why not? Well ever since the first day after I got my first 608s I was immediately getting out of bed pain free Well I remember a few years ago a salesman told me the 620 replaced the 608 So I got the 620 and it sucked Pain from start So I found more 608s since then and have lived a feet heaven Until almost recently The 608s are gone The new v2 608 shouldn't be allowed to wear the 608 name They suck too So thank you internet! So I found closeouts at a good price Goods news I got 23 new original 608s Cost me some money But what is 20 years of foot comfort worth? The foot doctor and the one insert would have been the same as what I spent on all these brand new sneakers As for ever buying another New Balance sneaker?

I bought these in the "straw" option and love them They are very comfy and will go with anything from a casual dress to jeans They are true to size and despite being a pretty high wedge easy to walk in and do not rub so no "breaking in" required Can't wait to wear them on my honeymoon in Maui! Totally worth the price
