My first pair of Frye boots and they're to die for! The leather upper is surprisingly soft and not thick as I expected so I'm really hoping they will last as long as Fryes are said to last As to the fit I'd say they run slightly narrow I can usually wear a heavy sock (wigwams) under my boots but these are too narrow for that I'm just going to have to buy some warm thin silk socks because these boots are too hot to send back
