I am a medical student and spend many hours standing in one place while attendings slowly s-l-o-w-l-y write their patient notes These shoes took standing for these long hours from unbearable to just uncomfortable Also when I finally get off my feet at night they actually recover where as with other shoes it was not a good idea to sit down until I was absolutely sure I was done for the day as getting back up was very painful These shoes take some time to get used to and actually I have found alternating them with my mary jane Crocs every other day keeps my feet nearly pain free
