Very Nice shoe - I adored the look and feel of the shoe--I thought I could even wear it with some skirts and dresses it was comfortable---had a great soft inner lining Now for the "buts"---The front of the shoe tips upward-putting the foot in an unusual unnatural postilion--and pulling the arch of the foot up--making the nice little leather arch support pad useless--my arch did not even touch that pad Then because this weird angle thing going onthe bend of the foot made the side Velcro strap come undone with the pressure of the foot movement I do think the shoe is worth a try--it may be fine for some I LOVE Born shoes but not all styles work for every foot

I love a cushion-by running sock and these had a great price so I bought a package They felt wonderful on - snug soft and nicely cushioned in the heel They fit perfectly inside my running shoesThe second time I wore a pair as I took off my running shoes (it had been a nine mile run) I looked down and noticed with shock and dismay that there was a hole in the toe Not your average thinning or tiny hole but a definite one cm hole I keep my toenails neatly trimmed; they are not at all long or sharp so I ruled that out as a possible cause I could not believe it None of the others have torn as easily but I do not think they will last more than four or five wearings each It's too bad because this sock is very comfortable and feels better than most socks I have worn It simply is not durable enough for running

I wore these through freezing drizzle in Scandinavia walking two to three hours per day then wore them all winter long in Saint Paul's snow and ice They are oversized which is what you want for cold weather You can wear a couple pair of thin wool socks and walk for a couple hours in zero degrees without getting cold feetThey are also good for bicycling in cold weather Great for airplane travel they go on and off quickly Like walking barefoot they have very little arch
