I received these shoes about a month before going to Germany for 12 days I wanted some time for breaking them in but they didn't need it They were extremely comfortable I have a heal spur and they havse been one of the best pair of shoes for comfort I am going to try other Ecco shoes and see if they are just as good They do run narrow for a medium shoe and that is why I chose them for my narrow foot The arch support is excellent
