I love my MBTs This is the 4th pair of MBT shoes I've owned and they have made it possible for me to keep walking daily without pain in my arthritic toes And ThumbTrade was wonderful to deal with I tried measuring my old pair of sandals when I couldn't find a size in them and ordered a size too small My first pair arrived in a day and my returned pair did also Returning the wrong size shoe was a breeze also No one in my town sells MBTs so I'm delighted to have ThumbTrade and MBTs

I found these ugly ducklings to be of the same fit and quality of my other Merrell shoes They are comfortable stable light ventilated and fast-drying My only complaint is small: the laces are very slick and come untied easily This can easily be remedied by purchasing a new set On a side note my girlfriend has the same shoe in the women's line and does not have the lace issue I have to double up on the knot to keep them tied but not a huge deal not enough for me to buy another pair of laces I have taken them sailing hiking and biking with absolutely no rubbing or discomfort from day one I actually incidentally had to swim in these for a short distance but they didn't weigh me down They were broken in within a couple days of dog walks and I found the soft mesh upper to be very conforming and comfortable and did not chaff the back of my ankle'heel They may be a bit dorky but a very good shoe Ahnu makes a couple of similar lines the Lodi and Temescal that would be worth checking out if you are interested in this type of shoe
