I'm typically a 10-1'2 but sometimes a 10 and I ordered both sizes based on previous reviews: I went with the 10-1'2 I used the shoes to tour through Panama Costa Rica Nicaragua and Honduras and they were perfect The darker color made them acceptable for walking through cities and better restaurants without screaming athletic shoe and the sole provided the need traction for hiking shallow river beds and trails in the cloud forests of Nicaragua's volcanoes When they got wet the removable footbed dried quickly and they drained water well I tried jogging in them and wouldn't recommend it for more than a mile or two if you're used to running in a more supportive (and shock absorbing) running shoe I also have the similar Salomon's and while they have the edge in styling these have it in comfort Overall very happy with the purchase
