The Birkenstock Arizona sandles are awesome! I've been wearing this model for about 7 yrs and wouldn't change a thing Make sure you get measured before buying them as they run about 1 size bigger than your normal shoe I'm usually size 11 running shoe (EUR 45) but I wear EUR 43 in these Birk's rnrnStylistically the hunter brown is very dark almost black If you want a lighter brown look at their other browns This isn't a stylish shoe by any measure but it's incredibly comfortable

If you have ever used a chain saw for a few hours you'll know the poky feeling of the sharp wood chips that manage to get in your boots Unfortunately that's exactly how these feel right out of the box The size is right plenty of room and comfy except for the darn nylon stitching on the inner liner that manages to poke its way even through thick socks Bummer
