I am so sad to be returning these shoes! They are so unique and stylish! But they just didn't quite fit right; the edges dug into the sides of my feet and my heel was likely to slip out I think some heel inserts would have helped that part but I couldn't see anything to help the other besides a wide shoe which I've never needed before The footbed was cushy and comfortable The plastic heel also made them feel kind of slippery If only they could have had good traction rubber throughout the heel and made the edges come up a little bit more to cover my foot rather than dig into them they would have been perfect!

I have read of Reiker shoes for quite a long time but had never purchased a pair A family trip to San Francisco sent me looking for a comfortable stylish pair of shoes for the trip When they arrived I wore them to my office for several days and they did feel like walking in bedroom slippers (which is where they should have stayed) I found the cushioned insert that was in them was to say the least not adequate support and there was no arch support at all I purchased a pair of inserts at a shoe store and they helped immensely but with both inserts in place it looked rather "tacky" Recently I saw the same shoes in another catalog and they advertised "Reiker Removable Insole" for $2500 Why should I pay a premium price for shoes and then still have to purchase an insole to give it support? I am extremely disappointed in this shoe and feel Reiker advertising is very misleading I do like ThumbTrade service and their convenience in ordering and returning shoes and will continue to use them
