The first time I wore these sandals I did get blisters on the top of my foot But I gave them a second chance once the blisters healed and they are great!! I'm a teacher on my feet 8+ hours a day and this is the first pair of shoes all week that my feet were not screaming at me halfway through the day Yes they do need some breaking in time but overall are very comfortable

I love Birkenstock shoes There is nothing better for comfort though they sometimes lack in "beauty"These are my favorites They walked me all over the "Big Apple" right out of the box If you have a medium width foot order them narrow I wear a 38 regular width because I like the extra toe space That's a 75 wide - US sizes
