I've been waiting for Dansko to come out with a new boot and was really excited when I ordered the Bella from ThumbTrade I got them in brown and when they arrived it made me sad to see that they were more red than brown A very nice rich color I must say but not what I was looking for The boot itself however was fabulous! The 39 was a perfect fit (I'm usually between 85 and 9) and they were very very comfortable I could tell that I would be able to walk all day in them with no problems They were a little roomy around the ankles which made me wonder if they would end up slouching or bunching too much over time Not too much of a concern if they were the right color Unfortunately I ended up returning them since I was looking for a brown pair of boots If what you want is a nice pair of well-made boots in a rich red-brown color I would highly recommend these

This shoe fits true to size and is comfortable The online measurements are correct - the heel is 45 inches high The leg is not as tight as I would have liked The calf of this boot measured 14 inches up from the arch of the foot is 1475 inches in circumference The color is a somewhat muted brick red not quite as bright as it appears online The toe is not quite pointy- it's rounded at the very tip My husband says I look "powerful" in these shoes

I loved these when I got them and wore them all around so I found that the small straps stretch out well before the shoe wears out making them basically unwearable Too bad because they were very comfortable while they lasted!
