I bought these after I wore my last pair of Deer rnStags into the ground I have been a fan of the brand ever since rnrnI bought the Telegraphs because I liked the way the shoe looked from the top and side perspectives Unfortunately I never looked at the other views of the shoe The soles of the shoes have little studs of rubber on them - not like cleat spikes but 1'4 inch round nubs It also has a clear section in the heel of the shoe similar to a sneaker In a professional environment these stylistic choices seem incredibly unprofessionalrnrnAs to comfort I have never ever had a shoe cause so much discomfort initially than these My right shoe would pinch my foot as I put pressure on it as the left one would proceed to cut up my foot as I took pressure off of it I've never owned a pair of shoes that would make you bleed before these For the first two weeks I wrapped my feet before putting on my socks and shoes in the morningrnrnI have had these for a month now and they've finally broken in There is still some discomfort (I find the pressure on the arch of the foot to be a bit too much) but overall it's an OK shoe to wear Once it's been broken in I would not wear this in a very professional environment

I wore these through freezing drizzle in Scandinavia walking two to three hours per day then wore them all winter long in Saint Paul's snow and ice They are oversized which is what you want for cold weather You can wear a couple pair of thin wool socks and walk for a couple hours in zero degrees without getting cold feetThey are also good for bicycling in cold weather Great for airplane travel they go on and off quickly Like walking barefoot they have very little arch

I have had this boot for about 2 years now and have loved it It is the most comfortable pair of shoes I own I got it in black from another website and I don't know if they still make them in black but I am thinking about buying a replacement pair because my current pair are falling apart Other than the fact that they are now falling apart these boots have been my favorite for the two years I've owned them!
