Great shoe It is marketed as a Mountain Bike Shoe and I haven't really used it for anything but in front of my house at this point That said it does grip the pedals well but it is not especially stiff and it does not have special toe protection as I was under the impression the other 510 biking shoes did Regardless it is still a nice shoe great for those looking for a skate type shoe for biking or just a casual shoe for around town I'm giving it 4 stars since I thought it was going to have a more DH mountain bike design to it The comfort is what is to be expected for a skate type shoe as well

I purchased these shoes for running on my treadmill and working out with P90X These shoes are excellent They fit my foot extremely well they are solid shoes (my Adidas had my little toe work its way out the side) and the bottom cushion is amazing it's almost like running on springs My shins no longer hurt when I run for extended periods of time; love these shoes
