I love these shoes but boy do my feet stink after wearing them for awhile Must be the type of leather used on the footbed I've even tried washing the soles but after a few days they stink to high heaven again Oh well love these shoes but will definitely avoid them for dates!

Fantastic shoe Let me start by saying that I am not easily impressed by running shoes As someone with a bit of a shoe-buying problem (both casual and athletic) I've worn a wide variety of shoes For my build (6' 2" 190 lbs) and running style (fast tempo shorter distance runs) these are quite possibly the best I've ever owned In addition to the fact that they're super sharp-looking the shoe has the most impressive combination of weight support and cushioning of any shoe I've owned While I'm sure you might be able to do better in any one category this model is an amazing blend of all three qualities They have the weight and feel of a racing flat with supple cushioning and terrific lateral support (which is terrific if you do any running on a track of less than 1'4 mile per lap) Perhaps most important to me is the fact that the cushioning is very accommodating and responsive Unlike many other running shoes these are neither so spongy as to wear out my legs nor do feel like I'm running on a trampoline When it comes to running shoes I think many folks pay too little attention to selecting a shoe that is body type and running style appropriate A runner's needs are highly individualized That said this model does the trick for me; and from what I can tell I believe it would satisfy a fairly broad spectrum of runners If you're looking to blend into the crowd though you might look for another model The color isn't exactly subtle but I think they look pretty sweet
