I'm a heavy guy with big flat feet
I'm not a runner
I need a stable
well cushioned supportive shoe
but I still have a neutral gait
Most heavy duty shoes (like the Brooks Beast
Asics Kayano) are hard on my knees
The New Balance 882 was my old standard
Now that Brooks makes the Dyad in 4E
I'm sold
I bought another pair
Shannon from Boston, MA
These shoes are great - definitely "statement shoes"
You'll get a lot of looks! They're a little high for me so I will only wear them for special occasions
I was able to wear them for a few hours before really noticing and then they were off
Anonymous from Boulder, CO
My 2
5 year old really likes these running shoes and that he can take them on and off by himself
I like the wide velcro tab
although I wish the top flap extended down farther
When on
it only covers about 1'2 of the tab
And we also tried the wides instead thinking maybe he has wide feet
but they were much too wide
So we kept the regular width shoes and they seem to stay on okay in spite of only half of the velcro being utilized
They also don't show too much dirt
which is nice
Overall they are cute shoes that go with most of his clothes and I like that they don't have some stupid character or lights on them
